It’s with great pleasure to announce Jacqueline Thompson as NWC Coach of the year. Coach Thompson has shown and continues too show her dedication, enthusiasm and the desire to teach the game of soccer not only to her two Girls U14 teams but to many teams throughout Nashua World Cups organization. Coach Thompson is a wife and a mom of three yet still devotes her time to others in her community. Nothing stops Coach Thompson. For those who know her well, her caring personality comes through, always willing to help others. Over the last few years at World Cup Coach Thompson has had her personal challenges but never lets that get in the way of a teaching moment. Her peers and members of her teams watch in amazement as after two surgeries, she still manages to get to
trainings with backpacks on her back and crutches in hand, never missing a beat. That dedication and enthusiasm is why Coach Thompson was unanimously the choice for this year’s Coach of the Year.
